Portable started trending on social media after doing a song that featured Poco Lee and Olamide. He has been recording songs since but hit a major breakthrough after the lyrical combo with Olamide and Poco Lee. Most of his fans took to social media to describe him as a “child of grace”, as he suddenly hit fame. After entering the limelight, portable has performed in concerts with the likes of Tiwa Savage, Wizkid among others.  Currently, he has a followership of plus 350,000 persons on Instagram.

His Real Name is Habeeb Okikiola

Well, first off, his real name is Habeeb Okikiola and he is an artist that has been recording songs and rapping for a while. Portable hails from Ogun, a state in southwestern Nigeria. According to a video that he shared on TikTok, he inferred that it was Olamide that brought him into the limelight.

He has some Bad blood with Poco Lee

In a trending viral video, Portable made claims that Poco Lee hijacked the song he recorded and corned the money that Wizkid sprayed on him in a concert.

 However, according to a post by Poco Lee on social media, the duo first recorded the song together then played it to Olamide who was impressed. Afterward, Olamide invited Portable so that they would do some lines together. Portable in a viral video stated that he would not agree with the release of the video of the song.

Quoting Portable; “Poco Lee, I am the one who sees a gun but doesn't shoot. You no show love o. Shey na you get Zazoo ni? Na Olamide bless me o, but you carry my song. You don rip me now. Even if you worked on the song, why is your name first in the credits?” In the video, he went on to say that in the Livespot Festival, Wizkid sprayed $3000 on him, but Wizkid gave him only $600.

After his social media rants about Poco Lee trying to take credit for the song and stealing his money, his promoter took swift action. Kogbagidi the Promoter of Portable in the video expressed his disappointment with his behavior. Quoting Kogbagidi in the video: “You never can tell what goes on in their mind or head. Am shocked and

embarrassed at this point. Do I need to fix your career and your head at the same time?” He was then sent packing from the hotel where he was lodged on a temporal basis.

Portable, later on, took to his Instagram handle to apologize for his approach. In his post, Portable wrote;” “My sincere apologies goes out to my benefactors @olamide @poco_lee and @kogbagidi. I am in the learning process. I know better now”.
